NEOZOON

Neozoon’s work focuses on the relationship between animals and humans, and how modern societies deal with both dead and living animals. The video collage, Call of the Wild (2017), is made from found footage and is about young people who practice a form of guttural expression, looking for a sound analogy to the animals within themselves.
Together they perform a gesture of the wild.

Neozoons Arbeiten konzentrieren sich auf die Beziehung zwischen Tieren und Menschen und den Umgang moderner Gesellschaften mit toten und lebenden Tieren. Die Videocollage Call of the Wild (2017) besteht aus gefundenem Bildmaterial und befasst sich mit Menschen, die eine Form von gutturalem Gesang üben.
